Meet Soumyadeep Bagchi

Counselling Psychologist

Close your eyes. Think of a faceless human. Stay with it for a moment. Who came to mind? And perhaps more interestingly — who did not?

Our minds move quickly, often revealing more than we expect. Therapy, for me, begins with this gentle curiosity rather than certainty. I am a trained therapist with a Master’s degree and a psychodynamically relational, integrative approach to therapy.

My work is deeply influenced by existential thought, where the focus is not on “fixing” a person, but on understanding their inner world with compassion and depth. I see therapy as a collaborative, safe, and reflective space — one that allows emotions, silences, and narratives to unfold at their own pace.

Rather than offering quick answers or false certainty, I aim to create a holding space where individuals can explore meaning, relational patterns, and their sense of self. Here, you are invited to show up as you are — at your own pace, in your own way. Not to be cured, but to be understood. Not to be analysed constantly, but to be gently held in awareness.

Together, we move from asking “Who am I?” to also exploring “What does this experience say about me?” and slowly, compassionately, making space for all parts of the self to exist.
